Application Procedures

Erie County accepts applications for employment ONLY when there are positions available. When there are employment opportunities, the position is posted and applications are accepted for five (5) working days, unless otherwise noted in the posting. The positions are posted in several locations including, but not limited to, Erie County facilities including Your Job Store, and the Erie County Human Resources Department located at 2900 Columbus Avenue (next to Erie County Fairgrounds) and advertised in the weekend and Monday editions of the Sandusky Register. Completed applications must be returned to the Human Resources Department or Your Job Store no later than 4:30 p.m. on the closing date. Resumes are accepted only as a supplement to the application.
