most important people ever in this office, either in person or
otherwise. |

Not
dependent on us. We are dependent on them. |

Not
an interruption of our work; but the purpose of it. We are
not doing them a favor by serving them. |

Not
outsiders to our governmental process; they are part of it. |
|
|
Not
cold statistics or names on a filing card or in a computer
terminal. They are human beings, with feelings and
emotions just like our own. |

People who bring us their individual concerns |

It
is our job to respond to those concerns effectively and
efficiently. |
