The Erie County Solid Waste District would like to partner with community organizations to provide recycling at community gatherings and events such as:
- Festivals
- Picnics
- Sports events
- 5k Runs
- Concerts
- Car shows
We have new Clearstream recycling bins from Resourceful Bag & Tag available for you to borrow. They are light weight and easy to assemble. They are perfect for any indoor or outdoor event. Their clear plastic bags eliminate waste contamination and are a visual aid to promote recycling. The hard plastic dome shaped lids are designed for plastic bottles, aluminum or paper recycling. We provide the bins and plastic liner bags. You provide the manpower.
Cans and bottles may be recycled at any of our thirteen drop-off recycling locations, or cans may be redeemed for cash at any area scrap yard.
