For Emergencies After Hours:

Contact the Erie County Sheriff's Department at 888-399-6065 or 419-625-7951.

The Dog Warden's Department has a 24-hour emergency on call system.

 

Emergency situations are:

  • Vicious dog
  • Injured or sick dog
  • Damage to livestock caused by dogs or coyotes
  • Uncontrollable confined stray dog
