  Magistrate Gregory S. McGory

Personal Background:

Gregory S. McGory was born and raised in the area and graduated from Huron High School in 1977.

He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy, at West Point, New York, in 1982. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant and spent ten years on active duty at various locations around the world. He graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in December of 1995 and admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996.

Professional Background:

Greg was appointed as a Magistrate in 2005 by Judge Robert C. DeLamatre. The five preceding years, he was an assistant county prosecutor in Ottawa County Ohio. He also was in private practice for five years.
