1-800-844-6591 to block phone calls from the Erie County Jail (they need
not come to the jail).

In order to visit you must be listed on the inmate's visiting list, have
a Photo I.D., and be at least 18 years of age.
If you are under 18 years old you need to be accompanied by an adult or
legal guardian.
You cannot visit if you have a TPO (Temporary Protection Order) or CPO
(Civil Protection Order) against the person your wanting to visit.
Only 3 visitors allowed for each visitation period.
No messages are taken.
Current Ohio Department of
Corrections rules do not allow any personal property to be taken to
prison. This includes cash, checks, clothing, hygiene items,
documents, photographs, tobacco products, ect. Any personal
property left behind at the Erie County Jail by an inmate must be picked
up within 14 days.
The only properties that may be
released from an inmate's property must be approved by court order.
Clothing, jewelry, and cell phones will not be
released. This property will be returned when the inmate is
released.
Only letters and money orders.
Inmates cannot have pictures, books, or envelopes sent to them. No
contraband.
